Invincible (Detroit)"One of the most talented emcees I've ever heard black or white, male or female..." -Talib Kweli "Invincible is one part emcee, three parts revolutionary, but the recipe is all Hip Hop." -Shook Magazine It is truly rare to find an artist like Invincible. Her spitfire wordplay has gotten her acclaim from Hip Hop fans all across the world, while her active involvement in progressive social change has taken her music beyond entertainment, and towards actualizing the change she wishes to see. Repping Detroit, MI, many are already familiar with her work with Waajeed and the Platinum Pied Pipers, Finale, the all-female ANOMOLIES crew, Black Star, and many others. Dubbed by XXL Magazine as "every A&Rs worst nightmare" for rejecting major label deals and general industry politrix, Invincible started her own record label, EMERGENCE, self-releasing her long-awaited full length LP, ShapeShifters, June, 2008. Invincible’s versatility shines through on ShapeShifters over production by Waajeed, Black Milk, Lab Techs, House Shoes, and more. She is part of a community on the frontline of innovating the future of music, including featured guests Tiombe Lockhart, Finale, Wordsworth, Indeed, and Buff1. Every track stands alone in style, subject matter and concept. Together, the tracks form a cohesive unit that covers issues related to self and community transformation such as: the journey of a struggling artist, J Dilla and Proof's legacies, media monopoly, love/hate relationships, gentrification, faith, and beyond. Invincible’s visual lyricism is interwoven with heavy hitting musical backdrops, creating a compelling cinematic sound-scape. The lead 12" Single and title track, "ShapeShifters," produced by Waajeed, is a ride in itself, beginning with the urgent declaration, "Music is not a mirror to reflect reality / It's a hammer, with which we shape it." The song proceeds to take the listener to a post apocalyptic future where a time capsule of Hip Hop and cultural resistance is unearthed, sampled, and evolved for generations to come. From Hip Hop enthusiasts to everyday people working for change, Invincible’s ShapeShifters will give hope to listeners searching for substance within their daily dose of music. Invincible has created an album for the ages to transform the way people listen to emcees for years to come.

Kelo (Oakland)Kelo is a songwriter, entertainer and hip hop artist with a love for music ranging from Hip Hop to Jazz, Rock n Roll and R&B. Although Kelo was born in Memphis, TN. Her family moved to the golden state when she was an infant therefore making California Kelo's home. Kelo began writing as a teenager. With living through many life experiences a pen and pad was never far. Inspired by rap legends Tupac, Jay Z, Outkast, Eminem and Snoop…..as a young adult, Kelo continued to write and occasionally show off her skills at house parties and local events. Kelo started officially performing live in K.C., MO back in 2003. A big shout out to all of the K.C. family. Kelo just happened to be in the right place at the right time. While visiting a studio with a friend, Kelo was asked to step in for another artist that was a “no show”. Even though Kelo had never recited in a recording studio this confident and challenge seeking artist thought to test her skills right then and there. They told her that if she could write and remember her 16 bars that she could test the waters that day. An hour or so later Kelo was called upon to enter the recording room and lay her lyrics on the track. Without her note pad she stepped on the mic and spit a 16 bars that were so viscous that the producers could not believe that she was fresh to the game of hip hop. They loved her unique delivery and heartfelt lyrics mixed with her high energy. Once she started entertaining people, she knew that she would not stop there. From local clubs to Pride Festivals on the East and West coast she spit her lyrics to slamming instrumentals and dances all over the stage with her high energy and explosive lyrics. Kelo performed her new single “Shout Out to the DJ” on the women of pride stage at the SF Pride this year. Kelo's music captures her audience with its intelligent wordplay and stunning metaphors without using a lot of foul and disrespectful language. Kelo is currently working to complete her first full album. She will include some reproduced songs that she created back in Kansas City and new ones that are bay created and loved from coast to coast. Kelo strives to keep her followers bobbing their heads and moving their feet.

ARRO (LA)ARRO is a music creator and messenger originally from Detroit, MI. Her first songs came at the age of 7, then quickly became forgotten due to sports and bicycles. Luckily 80's hair bands came on to the scene and inspired ARRO to pick up the guitar. She kept her new passion somewhat hidden because she didn't think it was cool for a black chick to play guitar. Plus, ARRO was kicked out of her high school band for refusing to learn how to read music and was quite cool off sharing those details w/ her fellow peers at the time. So she put the guitar down and picked up a bat... softball bat that is. Raw athletic skills, hard work, & dedication earned ARRO a spot in the universe as an intercollegiate softball player. During her last game she realized because of her gender, she could not make a living playing this sport so she re-examined her purpose in this world. Two years ago, music popped up and said, "Hey, it's me. I am your purpose." Since then, ARRO has become a prolific songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and singer. She considers the majority of her work as FANTASY ROCK, but her range includes country, hip hop, adult contemporary and children's music. All of her songs are her gifts to you. ARRO works w/ many talented artists using different mediums. In order to function properly, she requires significant time w/ creative playmates/bands, Haystac Landing & Shoeless Shock 5.0. ARRO also regularly performs/gives service to the Unity Church of Chatsworth. http://www.myspace.com/arroverse
